English Project 6th

Lately we’ve been talking about recycling and pollution. Within this topic, we have created some objects and useful things thanks to recycled material we brought. We have thought about objects we can use in our homes, in our class, or simply for having fun.

The human body

Hello again!

During these last 2 weeks, the 3rd graders have been working on a very special Science project. We drew a big human body and we filled it with all the organs of the systems we have been learning about in this unit. Each table was an expert group about one system and they had to create the parts and make some cards explaining the function of each organ. We have become expert scientists about the human body! Here you have some examples of the process and the results. Enjoy!

Restaurants English project

Hi there!

To conclude the last English unit about The picnic, in 3rd grade we decide to create our own restaurant in groups and design a different and creative menu for each one. This way, they put in practice all the vocabulary they knew about the food and they learned a new one. Here you can see some examples of the creative menus. We hope you like it!

English Project a 3r : HAPPY PETS

During the last unit, we have talked about how to take care of our pets and we liked so much that we decided to do a project about it. 

Each child had to bring a picture of his pet and fill in an information chart using the grammar and the vocabulary we have been working on. 

To finish the project, we decided to play a game called "What pet am I?" in which they had to ask some questions to have enough information to guess which pet his friend was. 

It was a blast and they are looking forward for the next English project!

We had fun learning parts of the body!

First grade would like to share how fun it is to learn about our body through an incredible activity.

All the students were organised into groups of four to five and each group had a photocopy with labels that contained vocabulary of different parts of the body. Their task was to cut out the labels and each group had to collaborate while we were thinking about the meaning of each one. All the classmates were inclusive as every member of the group had to discuss and make decisions together. 

Furthermore, everyone had the chance to speak, listen to each other, and give serious consideration to what they were saying. After that, everybody chose one label and stuck it on the correct part of the body. Finally, we made some funny poses and we took different pictures. We will never forget this amazing moment.
