South Africa

Hello everyone!

Today 5th grade students are singing a song about Soth Africa in front of 6th grade students. They have prepared clothes and accessories for this moment and in the hall you can see some of them.

The corridors have also been decorated with pictures and Mandela quotes.

Some students have explained what they have learned about this wonderful country:

Laura: In south africa there were racial segregation.
Laura: Mandela went to prison because he fought against racism.
Noemí:The South African capitals are Pretoria, Bloemfontein and Cape Town.
Noemí: Mandela was the fist black president.

Marcos and Dani: There are lots of trives.

The song they sang was "Wavin' flag" with the lyrics changed, now talking about peace and the equality of people. The dance was the choreography of the song "Waka Waka". It was beautiful, thank you so much!
